July 2026 145 Alive

A wonderful day to be up at the shack! The mast was wound up, and we got the 145 Alive FM net under way. Pete started and soon found we had to QSY due to another station we could hear on the allocated frequency.
Once we'd moved, the net ran smoothly.Pete, Stuart and Nigel, took 30 minute slots which worked well over the 3 hours.We had a total of 41 stations call in, including one from the Netherlands and another German station operating from an island in Denmark.
It was great to have a good number of stations join us, with plenty of enjoyable conversation throughout the net. Some stayed with us, while others dropped in for a chat before moving on and returning.
A special mention goes to Carol, who made her first on-air contacts, saying hello to a couple of stations and enjoying her first QSOs.
