Remember to use

Check the "Notes to Schedule 1 and 2" which you may not have previously looked at as you will need to look carefully at these notes to correctly answer the questions.

1G1   Identify relevant information in the schedule to the Full Licence.

A copy of the schedule will be available during the examination.


There is so much detail in the Table C of the Full Licence Parameters and so easy to miss the notes which are also important e.g. (note f) which is referring to airborne operating, and (note g) which is referring to operating rules for the 5MHz band. You also need to take care on restrictions in certain parts of the U.K that you cannot operate on some frequencies. Make yourself fully aware of all the bands and restrictions so that you can quickly find answers in the schedule parameters and the notes at the bottom. You do not have to remember it all now as you will have a copy of the schedule for your exam, but please read through it all before your exam.
